Micheal Johnston went the distance at Field of the KGB today. The Tomsk hurler yielded 4 hits, walked 0 and had 2 strikeouts in the KGB 3-0 triumph over the Dayton Sluggers.

Tjakke Erkelens of the Dayton Sluggers was really in the zone as he mowed down the North Shore hitters 5-0 in a sterling mound performance.
"I'm feeling good overall," he said.
"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."
Erkelens shut down the North Shore Honu, blanking them on 5 hits while registering 1 strikeout and no walks.

Jean-Jacques Lemaître of the Waterford Reds was in command from start to finish in his 1-0 shutout win over the Dayton Sluggers. He struck out 7, walked 2 and allowed 3 hits.
"I felt strong the entire game," Lemaître said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."
