| Breaking News | | Wednesday, July 31st, 2013: Lexington Humbled by Geckos "That was one of my best outings," said John O'Dell. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."
It was an impressive start for the Geckos hurler. He blanked the Warriors 9-0 on a strong 6-hitter while ringing up 4 strikeouts and doling out 2 walks.
Up to now O'Dell has compiled an ERA of 1.13 with a 2-2 mark over 5 starts. He has 13 strikeouts in 39.2 innings and has held opponents to a .173 batting average. | | Friday, July 19th, 2013: Canó Hurls Bay City to Shutout Win Armando Canó of the Bay City Battalion was in command from start to finish in his 8-0 shutout win over the Cook Island Geckos.
