Friday, September 27th, 2013: Centennials Top Spiders in Round 3
This is the time of the year, when grown men are sometimes reduced to tears.
This year the Merritt Centennials shed tears of joy and the Springfield Spiders shed some sad ones, all because of a baseball game.

The Centennials eliminated the Spiders today 5-1 at Centennials Ballpark and locked up their 1st GUBA Short Season A Round 3 championship, winning the series 4-3.

The Centennials finished up the regular season in the Eastern League Central with a 37-17 record, ending up in first place in the division standings.
