| Breaking News |  | Friday, July 19th, 2013: Centennials Vigil Silences Miami Today at Centennials Ballpark José Vigil baffled Miami batters on 3 hits en route to a 3-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off balance and got the ball down," said the Centennials skipper about his starter's performance.
Vigil had 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.
In 2013 Vigil has compiled a 4-0 record with a 2.15 ERA. |  | Sunday, August 26th, 2012: Miami Humbled by Saints Sometimes even Everett Palmer of Cork isn't sure which pitcher will show up when he takes the mound.
"I've been good sometimes and bad sometimes," he said.
This time he made the Miami Sharks look bad 5-0.
Palmer tossed a 6-hit shutout against them, totaling 7 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.
In 10 starts this season Palmer has registered a 2-5 record and a 4.01 ERA. |  | Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012: Sharks Pitching Ravaged by Dunn It was high-5 day at Normandy Fields, at least for Shawn Dunn of the Ottawa Moose. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Miami Sharks. Dunn smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on a his record-setting day, leading his club to a 17-0 win.
His manager said, "Shawn was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."
In the other dugout the opposing manager told SION beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."
S. Dunn singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
