| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, August 5th, 2014: Clement Zeroes in on San Jose
It turns out that Taipei's Kenny Clement needed little run support to beat San Jose today 6-0 at Dragons Stadium. In a solid outing Clement recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk as he held the Macaws to 4 hits and shut them out.
So far this season Clement has a 9-11 record with a 3.02 ERA.

Ramón Lara had an impressive outing today. He hurled the Aunu'u Swamphens to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Taipei Dragons, yielding 4 hits with 9 strikeouts and no walks.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," the Taipei skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
So far this year Lara has 1 win and 2 losses and a 2.21 ERA.

 | Tuesday, July 29th, 2014: Miller Too Tough, Blanks Chattanooga
The Chattanooga Smokies met their match today in Taipei hurler Tom Miller. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," the Chattanooga skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow."
In the 5-0 victory Miller whiffed 2 and gave up no walks.
So far this season, Miller has logged a 13-6 record with a 3.21 ERA. He has started 22 games, hurled 148.2 innings and registered 61 strikeouts and 34 walks.
