In the Chiefs 23-1 win over Cartagena, Wlodzimierz Czartoryski was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Chiefs Ballpark.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for a 5-hit game. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
On his big day Czartoryski delivered 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
W. Czartoryski doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th and hit a three-run home run off J. Unknown in the 6th.
