Swamphens catcher Juan Chávez finally met his Waterloo. His 20-game hitting spree is now history. He was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats in today's game against the Chattanooga Smokies, but the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 7-4.

Today Juan Chávez went 3-for-5 in the Aunu'u Swamphens 7-6 victory over the Petaluma Atheists. This extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Chávez declined to comment for the media immediately after the game.
J. Chávez singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and doubled in the 11th.
