| Breaking News | | Friday, August 8th, 2014: 5 Hits for Atheists Giada It seemed that Petaluma second baseman Pedre Giada could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Atheists still dropped the game to the Loons by the score of 8-6. He did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Rochester prevailed in the ballgame at Atheists Stadium.
"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough. We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play. The balls just fell in for base hits. Some days they do that," Giada explained in the postgame press interview.
P. Giada singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
Giada is hitting .438 so far this season with 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 14 hits including no home runs, no walks and .412 OBP. | | Saturday, August 2nd, 2014: Jordan Sparkles, Blanks Holbrook Atheists Stadium played host to a command performance by Ian Jordan of the Petaluma Atheists.
