Saskatoon first baseman Héctor Aragón could do no wrong in today's 16-4 win over the Devils as he collected 5 hits.
"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Devils said to the press corps after the game.
Aragón agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
H. Aragón singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off M. Herrera in the 9th.
In 2014 Aragón is batting .283 with 45 hits, 1 home run, 17 RBIs, 19 walks, .372 OBP and has scored 20 runs. He has played in 40 games.

Sendai catcher Doug Green really lit up the Tasmanian Devils with a 5-hit barrage today at Swords Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Swords to a 14-3 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
D. Green singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
Green is hitting .317 this season with 2 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 281 at-bats.

 | Friday, June 20th, 2014: Boyd Sizzles -- Smokes Devils for 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Chuck Boyd. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Boyd went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Tasmanian pitching.
When the dust settled on the diamond at Big Littles Ballpark, he had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Reno Big Littles had a 16-0 victory over the Devils.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
C. Boyd hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
This year Boyd has 8 home runs and a .308 batting average.
