It was a masterful game today for Anthony Turner. The Kielbasa hurler pitched shutout ball against the Omaha Barnstormers en route to a 8-0 win at Kielbasa Ballpark. In the game Turner rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 2 and allowed 4 hits.
In 2014 Turner has compiled a 11-9 record with a 3.18 ERA.

 | Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014: Martínez Tags Kielbasa 5 Hits
The Tycoons whipped the Kielbasa 10-4 at Field of the Tycoons and Sergio Martínez had a big hand in the win. The Tycoons right fielder came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Martínez and a tough day for Kieice.
"I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan."
Plan or not, Martínez delivered today -- 5-5 is outstanding in any league.
S. Martínez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off J. Rosa in the 9th.
In the 2014 campaign Martínez has hit at a .277 clip with 54 RBIs, 8 home runs and 27 runs scored.

 | Monday, July 7th, 2014: Kieice Third Baseman Nets EL Award
Raúl Reyna is respected by most Kieice Kielbasa fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .462 average (12-26) with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
So far in 2014 Reyna has hit .301 with 7 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 82 games and scored 48 times.
