Mun-cheol Mun certainly found a groove in July. The Andean starter posted 5 wins last month to easily claim the Eastern League Pitcher of the Month.
During the month Mun was 5-1 with a 2.55 ERA. He made 7 starts, tossed 53 innings and had 20 strikeouts.
To this point in the season, Mun shows a 11-9 record, 23 starts, 155.1 innings, 43 strikeouts and a 3.88 ERA. |

This week he let his bat do the talking. That's why Lorenzo Colón of the Andean Fat Stealers was named the Eastern League Player of the Week.
For the week the 23-year-old third baseman batted .654 (17-26) with 1 home run, 5 runs and 9 RBIs.
Thus far this season Colón has hit .362 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and scored 10 times.

At Fat Stealers Ballpark José López was the King of Swing today in the 8-7 win over the Superstars.
The Andean right fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Santa Monica and delivered 5 hits.
It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. Unbelieveable. It felt good. It felt great. What a day! 5 for 7! It does wonders for your batting average, too."
J. López tripled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
This year López has collected a .305 batting average to date with 58 hits in 190 at-bats, 19 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 23 times. He has played in 44 games.
