Ricardo Morales feasted on Western League pitching in June and today he walked off with the Batter of the Month award.
The Long Neck first baseman rapped out a .350 batting average while collecting 35 hits, 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
This season in 82 games, Morales has hit at a .311 clip with 100 hits, 8 home runs, 42 RBIs and 45 runs scored.

 | Saturday, June 15th, 2013: Collins Baffles Belize
Mark Collins of the Long Neck Black Crows was on fire against Belize. He shut them down 5-0 on 3 hits and no runs with 2 strikeouts and 4 walks.
"The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Collins said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."
So far this year Collins has compiled a 5-3 record with a 2.82 ERA.

 | Friday, May 10th, 2013: Long Neck Befuddled by Myszka
Marek Myszka dominated the day, pitching shutout ball against the Black Crows and holding them to 2 hits. He fanned 7 and walked 2 in spinning his 1-0 win.
"I can't take all the credit for this one," Myszka said. "I had some great defense behind me."
So far this season Myszka has compiled a 7-1 record with a 2.15 ERA.
