| Breaking News |  | Friday, June 28th, 2013: Halifax Can't Buy a Hit!
There was magic on the mound today at Ballpark of Cuba as Victor Fuller of the Cuba Bluesmen no-hit the Halifax Captains 7-0. He held them spellbound and hitless in a masterful display of pitching.
After the game he said, "It was like I was in a dream. The ball just went right where I wanted it to."
In his mound masterpiece Fuller rang up 7 strikeouts and issued 4 walks.
In 13 starts this year Fuller has crafted a 8-5 record and a 4.15 ERA.

"Don't believe everything you hear." was the word from the team's ownership group after rumors of Sam Rigsby wanting out of Cuba surfaced late yesterday. No one knows exactly how this news broke and Rigsby laughed it off when told of the story.

 | Thursday, June 13th, 2013: Nothing Doing for Bluesmen, Shutout by Colón
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Cuba manager after his club suffered a 6-0 shutout at the hands of Javier Colón of the Tutuila Turtles. He held the Cuba Bluesmen scoreless in a 2-hit whitewash.
Colón was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 6 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Javier did a whale of a pitching job."
In 12 starts this season Colón has rung up a 5-3 record and a 3.44 ERA.
