| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, July 29th, 2014: Hitting Streak Still Alive for Rosado
Today Mario Rosado went 3-for-5 in the Congo Drums 6-4 victory over the Halifax Captains. This extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Rosado declined to comment for the media immediately after the game.
M. Rosado singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and flied out in the 11th.
Rosado on the season is hitting .320 with 1 home run. His stats include 50 RBIs and 59 runs scored.

 | Monday, July 21st, 2014: Congo Whitewashes Niigata, Galván Winner
It was a great game for Francisco Galván of the Congo Drums. The 21-year-old hurler blanked the Niigata Ninjas 4-0, stopping them on 1 hit.
In 17 starts this season Galván has compiled a 7-6 record and a 3.03 ERA.

 | Sunday, July 20th, 2014: Knapp 5-5 Against Drums
Steve Knapp of the Ninjas was unstoppable in today's 8-1 victory over the Congo Drums at Ballpark of Niigata. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Niigata shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will."
S. Knapp singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This year Knapp is batting .310 with 4 home runs and 50 RBIs.
