"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in. We just didn't get enough hits at the right time."
T. Reyes doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and flied out in the 12th.

He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Chihuahua Dorados. Ortíz smashed 5 hits in 7 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 5-4 win.
His manager said, "Francisco was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."
In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."
F. Ortíz singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, flied out in the 10th, doubled in the 12th, was hit by a pitch in the 14th and singled in the 16th.

The Zhengzhou second baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Chihuahua pitching for 5 hits in 9 at-bats in the game.
He told BNN reporters after the game that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch."
J. Sandoval flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th, flied out in the 15th and hit an RBI single in the 16th.
