Several Warriors and Bandits players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Auckland will get 26-year old shortstop Juan Tevada and 20-year old minor league right fielder Victor Bunch and Birmingham will pick up 28-year old starting pitcher Yen-nien Thean in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Warriors."
Over his entire career Thean has worked 747.2 innings with 662 strikeouts en route to a 39-42 record. The 28-year-old also has a 4.32 ERA.
In his career Tevada is hitting .230 with 336 hits, 25 home runs, 142 runs scored and 166 RBIs.

Auckland fans are justifiably excited today as the team unveiled their latest acquisition in Kyu-jin Yi. The 38-year-old is a big money player and will certainly have an immediate impact on the organization.
Some estimates have him making $48,240,000 over 3 years, though media representatives haven't been able to confirm the exact figure.
In his career Yi has hit for a .317 average and totaled 1222 hits, 9 home runs and 389 RBIs.
