Medical officials from the Bogota Toros reported that the club's 33-year-old right fielder, Nathan Wagner, suffered a fractured finger in yesterday's matchup against the Mexico City Diablos Rojos while making a defensive play. Wagner is expected to miss one week of action.
In 2013 Wagner has hit at a .274 clip with 107 hits, 26 home runs, 71 RBIs and has scored 65 times. |

It was a good day all around. Mexico City whipped Bogota 7-1 and Kyung-soo Ku displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Diablos Park.
"Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told SION reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Kyung-soo is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have, and vice versa."
The 28-year-old left fielder for the Diablos Rojos collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats to get his name in the record book.
K. Ku hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off O. Reynoso in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Looking at his season stats, Ku has compiled a .273 batting average and a .342 on-base percentage, while hitting 23 home runs and driving in 77 runs.
