Happy times in Vancouver as the Mounties and star third baseman Alberto Martínez put the finishing touches on a $37,850,000 contract extension that will keep the 27-year-old in town 4 years longer.
The signing is great news for Vancouver because players of this caliber are hard to come by.
Taking a look at his lifetime stats, Martínez is hitting .282 with a total of 60 home runs.
