 | Friday, April 27th, 2018: Allanson Hurls Birmingham to Shutout Win
Birmingham pitcher Larry Allanson put on a show today and walked away with a 3-0 shutout victory over the Louisville Sluggers, throttling them on 4 hits. He just cruised through their lineup, fanning 6 and walking 1 in a strong outing.
"He was very efficient and he hit his spots," his manager said. "He stayed down in the zone and stayed away from the middle of the plate."
This season Allanson has compiled a 1-2 record with a 3.32 ERA in 5 starts. |
