Breaking News Friday, June 21st, 2013: London Swaps Santana to Buffalo for The London Spitfires have finalized a deal with the Buffalo Bisons for the services of $1 in cash. In exchange, the Bisons will receive 33-year old second baseman Héctor Santana and $1 in cash. Thus far this year Santana has hit .241 with 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. Tuesday, June 11th, 2013: Buffalo Trades Edens to Birmingham for Campeau A trade between the Buffalo Bisons and the Birmingham Bandits was made official this morning. The Buffalo Bisons have sent 22-year old starting pitcher Charlie Edens to the Birmingham Bandits in exchange for 19-year old first baseman Will Campeau. Currently Campeau has 5 home runs and a .301 batting average. Wednesday, June 5th, 2013: Bisons Sánchez Sidelined for 1-2 Weeks It took the Buffalo team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher José Sánchez won't simply play through back spasms after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Gators-Bisons game. At first, it looked like Sánchez might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Sánchez as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.
