GUBA Rookie League News Article | | | Thursday, September 6th, 2012: Su Shackles Lauderhill "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus. He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."
And that's what Cho-yeong Su did as he led the KGB to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Hitmen.
"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," the Lauderhill manager said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
Su yielded 2 hits and had 5 strikeouts and no walks in a standout performance.
In 2012 thus far, Su has tossed 100.2 innings in 13 starts, fanned 63 batters, walked 26 and put up a 1.25 ERA with 8 wins and 3 losses. | |
