 | Thursday, August 30th, 2012: Rogers Spins Shutout Against Caimans Ryan Rogers of the Tomsk KGB spun his magic on the Corpus Christi Caimans today. He blanked them 2-0 on 2 hits, registering 3 strikeouts and 1 walk. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Rogers said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the Tomsk skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations. This was just a solid performance by everyone." In 2012 Rogers has compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.95 ERA. |
