 | Tuesday, August 28th, 2012: Waterfall Tosses Shutout Against Bridgeport A masterful pitching performance carried the Hermosillo Naranjeros to a 6-0 victory over Bridgeport. George Waterfall held them scoreless in a complete game effort. He permitted 5 hits, had 7 strikeouts and allowed no walks. The skipper of the Buzz said, "Waterfall was sharp. We never did figure him out." On his stats sheet this season Waterfall shows a 5-3 record, 8 starts, 54 innings, 35 strikeouts and a 2.50 ERA. |
