 | Tuesday, August 6th, 2013: Raymond Tags Mangos 5 Hits Russ Raymond of the Sand Crabs was unstoppable in today's 17-9 victory over the Zamboanga Mangos at Field of the Sand Crabs. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Latrobe first baseman after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." R. Raymond singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this season Raymond has 1 home run and a .395 batting average. |
