 | Thursday, August 23rd, 2012: Bowling Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits All game long Clinton's Ross Bowling was rattling the walls at Railcats Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Rouen Raiders. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Railcats had a 11-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old first baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." R. Bowling hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Bowling is batting .307 with 58 hits, 1 home run, 35 RBIs, 16 walks, .365 OBP and has scored 19 runs. |
