The Santiago Iguanas starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Cork Saints and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Saunders was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured tricep tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. |
