 | Friday, July 12th, 2013: Poole Slaps 5 Hits Today the Talons downed the Unidentifiable Small Creatures 8-1 as Mark Poole sprayed hits all over Kiriti Grounds in a 5-hit explosion, finishing up with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The Tonga left fielder said to SION reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them." M. Poole hit a two-run home run off C. Jenkins in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
