GUBA Single A News Article | |  | Friday, May 3rd, 2013: Johnson Blitzes Langley The Langley Chiefs were almost helpless today in their 7-0 loss to Kiev hurler Harry Johnson. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 5-hit shutout.
The Langley manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Johnson. He kept us off balance all night."
Johnson said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play. It was just one of those games that things went my way."
He had no walks and 2 strikeouts in a strong performance.
This season Johnson has crafted a 7-0 mark with a 2.48 ERA in 54.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .256 against him and he has 31 strikeouts. | |
