Thursday, May 2nd, 2013: Hagerstown Shuts Out Leones
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Ponce manager after his club suffered a 6-0 shutout at the hands of Alfredo Crespo of the Hagerstown Hawks. He held the Ponce Leones scoreless in a 3-hit whitewash.

Crespo was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with no strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.

In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Alfredo did a whale of a pitching job."

This season Crespo has a 3-1 record with a 2.23 ERA in 5 starts.
