 | Saturday, July 7th, 2012: Saskatoon Shuts Out Omaha According to Nick Bailey of the Saskatoon Pioneers, "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location." He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 4-0 victory over Omaha. He blanked them on a 5-hitter, allowed 2 walks and had 4 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Bailey said. His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again." This year Bailey has worked 27 innings with 17 strikeouts en route to a 2-2 record and a 3.33 ERA. |
