 | Monday, July 21st, 2014: Big Bat Bags WL Best Player Award Rochester Loons left fielder En-lai Thean had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Western League named him Player of the Week. Thean banged out 13 hits in 28 at-bats on the way to a .464 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Thean is hitting .265 this season with 13 home runs, 70 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 94 hits in 355 at-bats. |
