 | Monday, July 21st, 2014: Reno Designated Hitter Nabs EL Weekly Award All week long nobody could get Geer Bekema out in the Eastern League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Reno designated hitter took home the trophy by blasting 15 hits in 31 at-bats for a .484 batting average, driving in 15 runs and scoring 5 times. This season Bekema is batting .334 with 147 hits, 7 home runs, 70 RBIs, .367 OBP and has scored 60 runs. |
