 | Tuesday, June 17th, 2014: Hitting Streak Still Alive for Saslove Everyday everyone is checking up on Sean Saslove to see if he got a hit to keep his hitting streak alive. Today's answer is "yes". He did it with a 2-5 day against the Hawks. The Long Island Black Riders right fielder stretched the streak to 20 games in his team's 9-3 triumph over the Hagerstown Hawks at Ballpark of Long Island. S. Saslove struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 7th. So far this season Saslove is hitting .338 with 5 home runs, 45 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 290 at-bats and a .398 OBP. |
