 | Wednesday, June 11th, 2014: 5-Hit Blitz by Lazutkin Who needs batting practice? Pavlov Lazutkin of Tasmanian apparently doesn't as he peppered Hagerstown with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The Hawks pulled out a 5-2 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. This was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!" P. Lazutkin doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Lazutkin is presently hitting at a .414 pace with 3 home runs, 41 RBIs and has scored 41 times. |
