 | Monday, May 19th, 2014: Great Day for Trujillo -- 5 Hits Anastasio Trujillo of the Smokies was unstoppable in today's 8-7 victory over the Davao Water Buffalos at Field of the Smokies. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Chattanooga second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." A. Trujillo hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. Currently Trujillo is batting .294 with no home runs and 13 RBIs. |
