 | Monday, May 19th, 2014: Khu Week's Best Player Chang Khu must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .444 clip, then the Cartagena second baseman finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the WL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Khu batted .444 (12-27) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. This year Khu has hit at a .351 pace and produced 25 RBIs, 4 home runs and scored 19 runs. |
