 | Saturday, May 25th, 2013: Etter 5-6 for Musketeers During a player's career, there are days that stand out, and this day was definitely special! Ken Etter went 5 for 6 against the Boston Slammers at Lyon Grounds and the Musketeers picked up a 15-1 victory. He exclaimed, "What a day! We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" The delighted third baseman was really enjoying the happiness of the moment in the press room. "He was patient up there today," the Lyon skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Etter has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes." K. Etter singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off J. González in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 8th. Etter is hitting .327 in 2013 with 14 RBIs and 3 home runs. |
