 | Saturday, May 11th, 2013: Silva Hurls West Ohahu to Shutout Victory In an excellent mound performance, José Silva of the West Ohahu Cane Fires whitewashed the Holbrook Sailors 8-0 on a 5-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Holbrook manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Silva did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the West Ohahu hurler rang up 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win. In 7 starts this season Silva has chalked up a 4-0 record and a 1.73 ERA. |
