 | Saturday, May 11th, 2013: Hooray for Cavalinho! Hammers 5 Hits! Killarney center fielder Habrão Cavalinho banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Superstars 16-15. He went 5-for-7 and raised his batting average to .714 for the season. Despite the loss, Cavalinho was not dismayed: "If the hits keep coming," he said, "so will the runs -- and more importantly -- so will the wins." Presently Cavalinho is batting .322 and has collected 1 home run, 10 RBIs, .353 OBP and scored 16 runs. |
