 | Friday, May 10th, 2013: Macaws Pitching Ravaged by Holwell The Water Buffalos were defeated 9-6 today at Water Buffalos Ballpark by the Macaws, but you can't say Tony Holwell didn't give it his best try. The Water Buffalos left fielder came to the plate 9 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Holwell and a tough day for Davao. "I just go up there and swing away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." No plan or not, Holwell delivered today...5-9 is outstanding in any league. T. Holwell doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, struck out in the 12th, singled in the 14th, hit an RBI single in the 16th and singled in the 18th. In 2013 Holwell is batting .322 with 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
