 | Tuesday, May 7th, 2013: Death Valley's Dodman Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits It was a parade of hits for Elmer Dodman of the Death Valley Sunfire...one right after another...a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Cuba Bluesmen for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats and propelled the Sunfire to a 15-3 victory. "Dodman was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Bluesmen manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." E. Dodman singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th. This season Dodman has banged out 51 hits in 139 at-bats for a .367 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .424 pace and his totals also include 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
