 | Friday, September 21st, 2012: WL's Best Hitter for 2012 Named Russ Feltham, the gifted Honolulu first baseman, really got the attention of the Western League pitchers this past season. He battered them for 138 hits in 456 at-bats, 27 doubles, no triples, 15 home runs, 75 RBIs and scored 70 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Western League Outstanding Hitter Award for 2012. Feltham will get his trophy at the SBWA awards banquet this weekend. |
