 | Friday, August 3rd, 2012: Huertas Belts 5 Hits! Getting 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Long Neck's Juan Huertas had a very special day against the Thunderlizards when everything came together for him. He really swung the bat with authority, getting 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, it was Seoul that picked up the victory. They topped the Black Crows 8-6 at Black Crows Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Huertas said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but the loss kinda put a damper on the day." Disappointed or not, he still gets his name written in the record books. J. Huertas singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off R. García in the 13th. This season in 106 games Huertas is batting .300 with 3 home runs, 49 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |
