When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Sharks had a 11-1 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
J. Perales hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 8th.
Year-to-date in 19 games Perales has compiled a .316 batting average with 25 hits and 2 home runs. He has also scored 13 times and knocked in 14 runs. | |
