 | Monday, April 22nd, 2013: Perales Socks It to Brawlers, Cracks 5 Hits All game long Honolulu's José Perales was rattling the walls at Sharks Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Perth Brawlers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Sharks had a 11-1 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." J. Perales hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 8th. Year-to-date in 19 games Perales has compiled a .316 batting average with 25 hits and 2 home runs. He has also scored 13 times and knocked in 14 runs. |
