 | Thursday, April 18th, 2013: Great Day for Starr! 5 Hits! The Dynamo whipped the Sharks 12-6 at Dover Grounds and Christian Starr had a big hand in the win. The Dynamo third baseman came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Starr and a tough day for Honolulu. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Starr delivered today -- 5-5 is outstanding in any league. C. Starr singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off F. Solís in the 8th. This year Starr is hitting .440, produced 15 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 11 times and gotten on base at a .453 rate. |
