 | Monday, July 7th, 2014: Hard to Handle Hitter Wins WL Honor It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Western League, but last week Charles Miller of the Frederick Keys reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Miller rocked opposing pitching for a .583 average (14-24), 1 home run and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Miller is batting .311 with 4 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 85 games and scored 48 times. |
