 | Monday, June 30th, 2014: Barrage of Hits Gets White EL Award There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Chris White, the Yellow Springs third baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Eastern League Player of the Week honors. White piled up 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs while hitting .524. Thus far this season in 81 games White is batting .268 with 16 home runs, 56 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 84 hits in 314 at-bats. |
