No pitcher in the Western League threw better in May, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 6 starts Fujita compiled a 1.54 ERA, putting up a 5-0 record, striking out 25 and tossing 41 innings. So far this season Fujita has a 10-0 record with a 2.33 ERA. |
