 | Sunday, June 1st, 2014: Altagracia - May's Best EL Hurler Over the past month Alonso Altagracia has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Eastern League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Kalookan Milkfish posted 6-0 mark and a 2.27 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 47.2 innings, permitted 44 hits and fanned 24 batters. So far this season, Altagracia has logged a 9-2 record with a 3.84 ERA. He has started 12 games, hurled 84.1 innings and registered 41 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
