 | Thursday, May 29th, 2014: Aitcheson Shuts out Tutuila "Good pitching beats good hitting" is an old baseball adage. Well, good pitching also beats bad batting. In his postgame interview the Tutuila manager said, "Jake Aitcheson made us look real bad today. He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking." Aitcheson had 4 strikeouts, no walks and allowed only 3 hits as the Pacific Grove Paladins whitewashed the Tutuila Turtles 1-0. This year Aitcheson has compiled a 10-1 mark with a 2.45 ERA. |
